5. QUALITY CONTROL BEFORE EXPORT
It is highly recommended to perform a quality control of the model before any IFC export.
- Clash detection in the business model between the different objects to ensure that there is no overlap between the constructive elements.
- Extraction by category of object including all the properties to be filled in the GID. This allows you to check at a glance if certain objects are missing properties.
- A visual control is also recommended by making cuts to check the interlocking of the elements in each particular situation, tool “Section Box” particularly recommended to probe each section of building.
