BUILT-IN PARAMETER (PRESENT BY DEFAULT)

Built-in properties are properties that exist by default in the software and are visible. They can be of type or occurrence. Their name cannot be changed and usually the mapping to IFC is already preconfigured (not always). We can for example quote “Structural” which defines if an element is structural or not. This property does not exist for all objects or has a different name from one object to another.

These properties are used in the configuration files as much as possible but in some cases it was necessary to use a custom property because the built-in property did not work satisfactorily.
