Introduction
Description
This module is part of a complete training cycle covering all aspects of Building Information Modeling, from the basics to tools for the BIM Manager, including training for the BIM Coordinator.
Objectives
At the end of the training, the participant will have the tools of understanding to be able to :
- Understand the issues involved in managing information throughout the building lifecycle, and how they relate to BIM.
- Knowing how to position yourself in a BIM project (project owner, manager, operator, maintainer)
- Defining objectives for BIM applications
- Analyze a business process to facilitate collaboration
- Understanding the new roles of BIM project participants
- Understand BIM project stages, documents and organizational milestones
- Understand and write a Project BIM Brief
- Know the principles of collaborative project management, understand the link between management and parameterization of a collaborative BIM platform in accordance with ISO 19650.

- Guiding and organizing BIM development over the life cycle of structures (ISO 19650)
- BIM project management for a prime contractor
- The Luxembourg BIM Guide from the client’s point of view: Project BIM Brief
- The collaborative platform: a central tool for project players

Prerequisites
- Have attended the BIM – Bases training course (FR/DE) or
- Hold an academic degree recognized by the CRTI-B for equivalence to BIM – Bases

Examination and certificate
At the end of the course, participants will receive a certificate of attendance issued by the House of Training and CRTI-B.
