Objective and deliverables
The project information model then becomes the asset information model: all the information delivered during the previous phase will then be used to manage the building (asset) and will be updated accordingly. Involved :
- The project owner
- The Facility Manager
- Maintenance teams
- Any new design/execution team involved in project changes
Processes to be implemented
A/ The Facility Manager uses the mock-ups and other project deliverables as input for setting up his CMMS system.
B/ The maintenance teams provide the Facility Manager with the information required to update the CMMS, after each intervention that requires it.
C/ In the event of major modifications to the building (e.g. redivision of space, change of equipment), the Facility Manager or the team in charge of the intervention must update the building model (depending on the contractual context).
